- March 2012 Demolition of the Old Terminal has finished
- August 2009 Demolition of the Old Terminal has started
- 1st July 2009 The new Cargolux Maintenance Hangar is officially in use with the first Boeing 747 arriving for a check
- 21st May 2008 Passenger Terminal A in service
- 20th May 2008 Old Terminal closed after 33 years of service
- November 2007 Extended Cargo Terminal has been finished
-13th April 2007 New Radar is taken online (official inauguration on 6th June 2007)
- December 2006 Construction of the new Radar Dome has been finished.
- July 2006 Construction of the new Radar Dome has begon.
- May 2004 Constructions for the New Terminal B finished.
- Since December 2003 Construction for a new Terminal A started
Terminal A will be connected to Terminal B after the demolition of the old Terminal.

- 1951 Construction of the main hangar.
- 1950's Main runway has been increased to 2000 x 60 m. Secondary runway is build (200/020 ; 1600 x 50 m)
ATC, Police, Customs are established.
- 15th February 1950 Tower goes operational.

Stopped by WWII, in which the US army uses the runway.
